2021 Global PRC Speed Touch Competition"
Korea's largest 'robot competition' that has been held since 2014
The production of the PROBO (Connect/PROBO TECHNIC) robot, which is used in after-school education at more than 2,000 elementary schools, has opened the opportunity for various experiences such as creativity, accomplishment, and concentration.
The PRC competition is the largest robot competition in Korea with more than 10,000 participants each year from 2014 to the present. While COVID-19 unfortunately prevented the event in 2019, in 2021, it was held both online and offline in a total of 9 regions.

#The year 2021
In 2021, in place of the existing Basic/Professional events, the [2021 PRC Speed Touch] event involved competing in speed by performing missions within a given time. Domestic - Seoul, Gyeonggi, North Chungcheong, Daegu, Gyeongnam, Jeonbuk / Overseas - Beijing and Nanjing, China, and globally in the Malaysian region.

216 future robotics science elementary school students representing 6 domestic regions and 3 overseas regions participated in the PROBO 'Technic' category and 'Technic' through remote, synchronous live broadcasts, and created coding robots that they freely developed and produced.
It was a close competition, and as a result, 1 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medalists were awarded in each region in two events. Through the finals in each region, the crowned champions were a Gyeongbuk student in the connect category and a Malaysian student in the technique category.
#Starting Again
[CONNECT Champion Kim Kyung-hwan]
"It was fun to make robots and think about it with my family."
[Kim Kyung Hwan's parents]
"I am so proud and happy that the competition has given my child yet another opportunity to grow."
[Technic Gold Medalist, Park Hyunjoon]
"Unfortunately, I couldn't win the championship because I made many mistakes, but I will try to reduce my mistakes next time!"
[Student Park Hyunjoon's Teacher]
"Hyunjun was really great at creating and controlling, so he didn't get nervous even though this was his first PRC competition. I believe he did the best he could and ultimately produced great results."
[Wonjun's parents]
It was a competition where children were able to prepare and develop their desire for achievement, competitive spirit, and concentration!

Seeing the participants who gave their best to the end in the midst of fierce competition, our Probo executives and staff will work hard to further develop the annual PRC competition.
