ALUX (CEOs Lee Chi-heon and Lee Da-in), an edutech company specializing in robots, disclosed the sales of 'Tomorrow Teacher,' an education and distribution community platform. Tomorrow Teacher's sales alone achieved 13.4 billion won in sales in 2023. This figure significantly exceeds the annual sales target of 10 billion won and represents a more than 7-fold increase in 1 year and 6 months compared to sales in 2022, when the official service was first launched. The number of visitors to the Tomorrow Teacher platform increased about six times last year compared to the previous year.
Since last year, in addition to consolidating service quality, we have diversified sales channels for teaching materials and product ranges, expanded the customer base using the platform, such as individual instructors from B2B specialized companies, and focused on establishing the learning management system 'LMS (Learning Management System)' service, and began providing integrated education and training in earnest. It was effective to take the lead in building an ecosystem as a distribution community platform.
Tomorrow Teacher was launched in June 2022 as an integrated community platform for education workers active in various educational spaces. Since then, it has provided all-in-one functions, including purchasing teaching materials, sharing employment information, and managing personal portfolios for those in education who suffer from information asymmetry, establishing itself as a 'digital education all-in-one total platform' through continuous service advancement.
Tomorrow Teacher has a 'Teaching Materials Mart' where one may purchase or rent robots, drones, teaching materials, etc., 'Competition Management' where you can conveniently manage applications and registration for various competitions such as Robot Cube, and customize the operating system according to the characteristics of the competition; We have completed the implementation of functions within the platform so that all education-related tasks and information sharing, including the community 'Story/Recruitment/Training Education' service that provides instructor activities and recruitment information, can be performed within the platform.
This year, ALUX expressed its ambition to create synergy by fusing the Tomorrow Teacher platform with ALUX's unique hardware manufacturing and software development competitiveness to complete the construction of a total digital education infrastructure and achieve high growth. Next, it plans to source convergence content between various education channels to provide connected content in the form of modules suited to the purpose of each educational institution, and to increase satisfaction and learning effectiveness by strengthening professional education content and information for instructors.
In addition, ALUX is planning for a new package that combines the offline experience center located on the Tomorrow Teacher platform and the ALUX product experience education program to enable reservation and sales and provide an online application service so that applications can be accepted for more external competitions within the Tomorrow Teacher platform. Its function as a service will also be strengthened.
Lee Da-in, CEO of ALUX, said, “As a result of listening to the voices of direct training sites and instructors and quickly upgrading our business area based on our own technology to keep up with their needs, we have achieved remarkable growth in just one and a half years since the launch of the platform.
“I am happy to have achieved this,” she said. “In the future, with ALUX’s human network and technology as assets, we will go beyond a simple teaching materials distribution platform and take one step further as a game changer in future education that can contribute to improving the quality of education and a healthy distribution ecosystem.”
