Seoul Digital Learning Center 1st Senior Digital Competition

"Smartphones and kiosks are not difficult to use. You can learn all about them at the digital learning center!”
We have organized a 'large-scale digital competition' where you can show off your digital capabilities with the skills you have honed at the 'Digital Learning Center'.
This is a digital competition for seniors in which a total of 25 basic organizations in the Seoul area participated, with a venue for them to show off their digital capabilities in a competitive manner provided for them. The digital competency strengthening education hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Intelligence and Information Society Agency provides digital education necessary for daily life, such as 'Complete mastery of the smartphone', 'Kiosk is not difficult', 'Creating digital content', and 'I am also a YouTube creator'.
We held a meaningful competition for seniors who enthusiastically took the training held throughout 2021.
#'Digital Quiz Competition’ using Metaverse
The first competition is a digital quiz (Senior Golden Bell). Twenty participants selected through an online preliminary competition will gather in one place to take a quiz. The contents of the quiz are all things learned at the digital learning center, such as how to use a smartphone, digital literacy, and how to use other, various applications. It was conducted in real-time using the online quiz program 'Quiz&,' and the quiz types consisted of multiple choice, subjective, and O/X.
Participants accessed the quiz platform through their respective tablets, quickly solved digital-related quizzes, and experienced a digital quiz competition that combined online and offline activities. Participants who took several training sessions at the Digital Learning Center solved the quizzes faster than anyone else. ^^
#Faster than anyone else ‘Kiosk Mission Contest’
Participants quickly place orders at the kiosk with each given restaurant ordering mission.
It is important to order quickly, but it is more important to enter the order accurately. The winner is determined by order speed and accuracy.

Seeing the seniors quickly placing orders based on the skills they had previously learned, it was clear how hard they had prepared.
The winners of the 1st Senior Digital Contest have been announced. Congratulations! It is fair to consider all those who have passed the preliminaries and made it to the main stage to possess impressive digital skills ^^. The Digital Learning Center plans to hold more diverse digital education and fun events in the future.
